KidsPlaySafer

Kids PlaySafer is a digital tool that helps to improve parent-child communication on digital safety. It is a non-profit, techforgood project with Better.SG, is led by Sandra Low and volunteers made up of parents and techies who are passionate about using digital tools to create social impact.

Designed with a quick, bite-sized quiz format, Kids PlaySafer aims to better protect and educate our children on the dangers of online safety. Kids PlaySafer has launched its first series of educational talks exclusively with Spright Academy, a student care service under AMKFSC Community Services. Combined with how-to workshops, the series of talks hope to support parents of children from Spright Academy (including those from low-income backgrounds) on their digital literacy and cyber safety journey. Kids PlaySafer is planning to roll out more partnerships in the community, to bring digital literacy programs to classrooms, help parents future-proof their children, and empower an army of savvy digital citizens.
