Mind Palace VR is a not for profit organization based in Singapore that is dedicated to improving the lives of the elderly residing in nursing homes through the innovative use of technology. Initially focusing on individuals with Dementia, they introduced Virtual Reality headsets, enabling them to transport residents to familiar places, evoking cherished memories. Building upon their success, they expanded their efforts to create immersive Virtual Reality experiences for elderly individuals in general. Notably, they developed a non-head mounted solution, transforming an entire room into an immersive environment where virtual worlds are projected onto the walls and floors, eliminating the need for goggles. These Immersive Rooms are also equipped with motion sensors used for engaging fitness games, such as virtual boxing or running virtual marathons.
