Here’s How You Get Started

You can play your part to strengthen the community by starting a project or activity that empowers Singaporeans with digital know-how.

Focus Areas
Projects should focus on the following pillars of the Digital for Life movement:

Digital Access

  • Help lower-income families and seniors gain digital access by removing barriers they face.

Digital Proficiency and Future Readiness

  • Equip carers and family members to teach seniors in using technology, and support persons with disabilities (PwDs) in using specialised software for their daily needs.
  • Teach Singaporeans to use Generative AI safely and responsibly, while understanding its associated risks.

Digital Safety and Security

  • Promote personal responsibility for online safety, e.g. staying safe against online misinformation and deepfakes.
  • Empower children and youth to navigate online spaces safely while supporting parents to adopt actionable to guide their children’s digital journey.

Application Details

Application Details for Individuals and Organisations (including Non-Profit Organisations)

Eligibility
  • Individual who is a Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident, aged 18 years and above, and residing in Singapore.
  • Organisation registered in Singapore with Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) or Registry of Societies (ROS) or the Commissioner of Charities (COC) or Registry of Co-operative Societies or Registry of Trade Unions
Fund support amount Up to 50% or 80% of qualified costs and capped at $20,000
Project duration Up to 1 year
Application window

1 January 2025 - 31 March 2025

Results are estimated to be made known within 2 months after submission of application. It is recommended that projects should commence after award of funding.

Application Details for Non-Profit Organisations

Eligibility
  • Non-Profit Organisation registered in Singapore with Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) or Registry of Societies (ROS) or the Commissioner of Charities (COC) or Registry of Co-operative Societies or Registry of Trade Unions
Fund support amount Up to 95% of qualified costs and capped at $500,000 per year
Project duration Up to 2 years
Application window
1 May 2025 – 30 June 2025

Results will be made known in or after October 2025.
Please note that project funding will be tied to costs and deliverables that are incurred and achieved respectively after the award of the grant.
